We had a fabulous time this morning with my BFF Alli and Fara's BFF Violet at the Pumpkin Patch. Then we had a birthday lunch at The Habit. Tonight we are having a tiny Care Bear-themed party at my parents' house... keeping things simple around here. Maybe I'll blog about it someday.
I really don't know how to describe how Fara has changed my life this past year, but here are a few words that come to mind: happiness, patience, physical pain, fun, learning, growing, crying, snuggles, frustration, teaching, laughing, exhaustion, praying, singing, sickness, reading, playing, trusting, and love. We've faced so many incredibly hard things this year, but so many others that have made our lives infinitely better. I still go to bed at night giddy about my little girl and consider it a privilege to do all the things that come with being her mom. But enough blabber; I'll let my video-editing do the talking. Here are months six through twelve of Fara's life (see months 1-6 here):
(I love that David Archuleta song; that's exactly how I feel about Fara growing up... "Baby, hold on!")
Happy Birthday Fara! What a fun video.
